What Does an Ameer Do?

As an Ameer, you will manage and guide a group of pilgrims throughout their Umrah or Hajj journey. This includes coordinating logistics, providing spiritual guidance, and offering emotional support.

You will be the primary point of contact for group members, assisting with check-ins, guiding rituals, and offering support during the pilgrimage. Your role is essential in making sure the group stays organized, adheres to the schedule, and enjoys a smooth and spiritually fulfilling journey.

Ideal Candidate Profile

We are looking for individuals who are not only organized and responsible, but also compassionate, patient, and spiritually mature. The role of an Ameer requires strong communication skills, leadership ability, and a deep respect for the sacred nature of the pilgrimage.

Candidates should be comfortable managing groups and providing reassurance, instruction, and encouragement to pilgrims, especially first-time travelers.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Must have completed Hajj at least once and Umrah multiple times

• In-depth knowledge of Hajj and Umrah rituals (Fiqh and Sunnah practices)

• Fluent in English (Arabic or other languages a plus)

• Previous experience leading groups is preferred

• Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence

Training Provided

We provide a full training program for selected Ameers. This includes updates on Saudi regulations, group leadership techniques, and customer service best practices. You’ll also receive materials to help with pre-departure seminars and on-the-ground leadership.
